Picnics June 2024

This is not one of my favorite picnics. The food is decent. The bands are decent. The parking is terrible. You may have to park blocks away. It is on the St. Ubaldo weekend. They have rides for the children. They have a big beer tent. All the usual picnic games. The teenagers are out of control. They walk right into you while tapping on their phones. Which is an issue for me because I walk with a cane. I am not sure if I will attend this year. But if you have nothing better to do give it a try, for a first picnic of the season.

This is one of the best of the season. The food is great. The bands are great. The volunteers are friendly and helpful. Parking can be a little tight. But get there early. Also there is parking in the church lot on William St. Join me in the back for a game of Irish Poker or try your luck at Beat the House. The beer is cold. Peggy's baskets are amazing. They have fun and food for children and adults. Including the annual diaper derby. If you miss this one you miss one of the best of the year.
