Saturday, July 4 through Sunday, July 19, 2026 | Select dates and times The Pennsylvania World Cup Fan Zone Scranton takes over Courthouse Square in Scranton, PA on July 4, 5, 18 and 19, 2026, with free FIFA World Cup 2026™ watch parties, live entertainment and family-friendly activities. Presented by Philadelphia Soccer 2026 and Visit PA, the Scranton Fan Zone is one of only three official Pennsylvania World Cup Fan Zones. Fans can gather at Courthouse Square to watch Round of 16 knockout matches, the World Cup Bronze Final and the World Cup Final on large screens throughout the venue. In addition to match viewing, the Fan Zone features a lineup of free live entertainment. Performances include Cruel Summer on July 4, Eco Del Sur and The Wankers on July 5, Hanson on July 18 and Tonic on July 19. The event combines international soccer with local entertainment, food and beverages. Visitors can enjoy live music, community activities and interactive soccer experiences throughout each event day. Soccer-themed activation zones give kids and adults opportunities to test their skills and join in the excitement. Located in downtown Scranton, the Fan Zone places visitors within walking distance of local restaurants, bars, murals, museums and small businesses. Courthouse Square can accommodate approximately 5,000 spectators during each event. Admission is free, and advance registration is encouraged to help manage capacity. The annual Jimmy Connors Summer Concert Series at Nay Aug Park in Scranton will feature over two dozen groups playing rock, blues, brass, dixieland, polka, Irish, German and other styles of music. The series began May 3 with the U.S. Navy Band Cruisers performing hits from the 1960s through today. “Our Navy Band Concert was fantastic. They played nonstop for 90 minutes,” said Bob Gattens of the Scranton Municipal Recreation Authority that oversees Nay Aug Park, which hosts the free concert series.
